The opening ceremony for the “Ceramic Mosaic Surface Coating” project, part of the open space identification efforts for the Çanakkale Municipality Green Local Government Building, was held at the Çanakkale Municipality Cultural Center. Under the coordination and consultancy of Prof. Yeşim Zümrüt, three project production workshops were organized with the participation of 105 academics and students from the Fine Arts Faculties and Ceramic/Ceramic and Glass Departments of nine universities from various provinces of Turkey. The process was completed with 9 months of design development and 12 months of production/installation. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Zümrüt, the Project Consultant and Coordinator, stated that the project aims to contribute to urban aesthetics and promote sustainability.
